Corporate Project Profile
Located in New York City on Times Square, for our client, a leading technology company, Inside Architecture provided a modern custom millwork design for an interactive display.
Architect Vince Piacente worked with this corporate client to create a custom solution tailored to their specific needs. The existing interior design required a millwork element that would both compliment and create a new focal point. The display is for the company to bring their select clients to interact with new technologies. Collaboration with Palazzo Interiors, a commercial furniture dealer located in NYC, provided a simplified and fast track installation.
Interior Designer Lauren Mammano incorporated a natural soft backdrop of white washed ash, surprising warm despite the very clean modern feeling.
The deceptively simple shelving is actually white quartz stone with inlaid black accents. The shelves appear to “float” but are supported with concealed structural steel. The stone is both elegant and provides a durable long lasting surface for technology display. LED lighting set below the shelves enhances the sense of “floating” shelves.
The shelves are set at multiple heights creating both a design element and compliance with to the American with Disabilities Act and the Barrier Free Building Code.
Located in Hopewell Township, NJ, Inside Architecture serves corporate clients with interior design solutions in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland.
